Metropolitan Communication Services (MCS Connect) is one of Victoria’s largest pre-provisioning contractors of telecommunication services. As an established leader in telecommunication installations, MCS Connect was expanding to offer a new range of services and went through a major transformation to establish a new multi-brand structure, now including traffic management and telco services all under the MCS Corporation Australia umbrella. I was commissioned to design this new multi-brand identity from the ground up, including all marketing collateral.
MCS' new identity establishes the solid, reliable presence of the corporation and creates a dynamic foundation for the sub brands. The sub brands share a geometric shape in motion in a grid of lines in their logomarks. The orientation of these grids and the direction of motion reflects the services of these brands while establishing an aesthetic unity between them.
